Algebra 1 is about looking for patterns, analyzing data, and making generalizations from that study. Therefore, students will spend time looking at variables, algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, and their real-world representations. This math course lays the foundation for math literacy and for other math courses to come. 

Coursestorm Online Enrollment is Free—Course Fee: $550. A $50 non-refundable course enrollment deposit will be billed immediately upon registration and applies toward your overall tuition.  The balance must be paid by July 1,  or a payment plan of $250 must be selected, payable by July 1 and November—lab fee of $25.

Course Meets: Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 am - 10:25 am

Required Materials: $25 for lab fee and printable material; a textbook to a PDF will be linked in Canvas.

Prerequisite: Pre-Algebra or Math 8
