German 2
with Joy Aldridge

German 2 will bring us to the A2 and Pre-intermediate level of global standards for German language skills. Students will learn more advanced conversational German and vocabulary to deepen their knowledge of familiar and common topics but also include more vocabulary, sentence structure practice, and practical conversational for daily use of the language. Each semester works through a textbook as well as extra grammar work and reading through some German short stories. Quizzes on Canvas will be given along the way to ensure understanding, and projects and tests are given for cumulative assessments. Students should be able to express themselves in everyday situations, read and understand simple texts, and discuss basic needs, family, school, hobbies, and practical topics in life. Wir werden lernen, gut Deutsch zu sprechen!
